Complete the tasks to unlock Secret Characters on Eirika's Route:

Chapter 2: Have Eirika talk to Ross Get Ross
Chapter 2: Have Ross talk to Garcia Get Garcia
Chapter 3: Have Neimi talk to Colm on Turn 2 Get Colm
Chapter 4: Go to the house on the lower left Get Lute
Chapter 5: Have Natasha talk to Joshua Get Joshua
Chapter 9: Have Eirika or Franz talk to Amelia on Turn 5 Get Amelia
Chapter 10: Have Tana or Eirika talk to Innes Get Innes
Chapter 10: Have Innes talk to Gerick Get Gerick
Chapter 10: Have Gerick talk to Marisa Get Marisa
Chapter 10: Have Gerick talk to Tethys Get Tethys
Chapter 11: Have Eirika talk to L'Archel Get L'Archel
Chapter 11: Have L'Archel talk to Dozla Get Dozla
Chapter 12: Go to the small house on Turn 5 Get Ewan
Chapter 13: Have Eirika talk to Comrag Get Comrag
Chapter 14: Have Eirika or L'Archel talk to Rennac Get Rennac


The following Secret Characters become available after you beat the game and play Ex.Map in Extra Mode. Complete the tasks to get the characters:

Beat the 3d floor of the Tower Caellach (JP: Keselda) (Hero)
Beat the 6th floor of the Tower Orson (JP: Olsen) (Paladin)
Beat the 7th floor of the Tower Riev (JP: Alvan) (Bishop)
Beat the Tower Ismaire (JP: Ismea) (Sword Master)
Beat the Tower three times Selena (JP: Serena) (Mage Knight)
Beat the Ruins, Round 5 Glen (JP: Guren) (Dragon Master) + Hayden (JP: Heiden) (Forest Knight)
Beat the Ruins, Round 7 Valter (JP: Walter) (Wyvern Knight)
Beat the Ruins. Fado (General)
Beat the Ruins three times Lyon (JP: Leon) (Necromancer)


Secret Shop Pass:
When you are to captue Grado with Ephraim, you can steal the pass from a rogue... or buy it for 10,000g. When you get it search the area beneath the chest in the upper left corner for the secret shop.

Secret Shop Location 2:
Chapter 14. there is a patch of grass that looks like a 7 to the left of the Boss' chamber. The section which is the horizontal part of the 7 has the secret shop, which you will need the Secret Shop Pass to enter.
